Minor is a 1992 graduate of James Madison University where he attained his Bachelor of Applied Science in Mass Communication and Media Studies. He began his career in January 1997 as a television news reporter at KALB-TV in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Minor currently works as an Evening Anchor at News4JAX in Jacksonville, Florida. He anchors the station’s weekday evening newscasts at 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM. He joined the station in March 2010 and has been working here ever since.
Before joining his current station, he worked as a Television News Reporter and Anchor at WKMG News 6 in Orlando, Florida. He joined the station in January 2000 and left in March 2010. He has also served as a Television News Reporter for WAFB TV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Besides his professional work, he also owns a video production company and is looking forward to producing a documentary someday. When off his duties he loves spending time outdoors trying out new fun activities. Florida suits his love for the outdoors and the fact that he is a surfer, the Florida weather works even better for him.
