Johnson attended and graduated from a local high school in his hometown. He later joined university and holds a Degree in Journalism. Johnson currently serves as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter for News4JAX in Jacksonville, Florida. He joined the station in late 2002 and has been working here ever since.
Before joining his current station he served several stations across the state like WPLG-TV and other organizations like Red Bull, The Conversation, Star Tribune, Kansas City Star, and RealClear Politics among others. Besides his professional journalism work, Scott is also a writer and is on his way to publishing his first book.
His work over the years has not gone unnoticed and he has received multiple Emmy Awards and nominations. Scott has enjoyed getting to know more about Florida and is honored to serve the Florida folk. When off his duties he enjoys watching television and spends time reading.
