Madison Weil is an American Emmy Award-Winning Anchor and Reporter working as a Multimedia Journalist at ABC 10 in San Diego, California. She joined the station in May 2022 after working as a Freelance Reporter for NBC7 in San Diego, California.
Education | Career
Weil attended and graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School in 2012. She then joined UCLA where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a minor in Anthropology. In 2016 she joined the University of Southern California where she graduated with a Master of Science in Digital Journalism in 2017.
She currently serves as an MMJ for ABC10 in San Diego, California. She joined the station in May 2022 and has been working here ever since. Weil loves her job and has a passion for breaking news, social justice stories, and human interest. As a result, she frequently reports on local Ukrainian and refugee stories.
Weil began her professional career as a Multimedia Journalist and Digital Fellow at ABC News in the Great New York Area. Weil joined the station in June 2017 and was promoted to Nightline Production Associate in August 2017. She left the station in May 2018. She then joined KESQ as a Reporter. Weil has also worked for CBS2 and KUNA as an MMJ and Fill-In Anchor.
Before joining her current station Weil worked for NBC 7 in San Diego as a Freelance reporter. She joined the station in January 2022 and left the station in September 2022. When off her duties she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and exploring the world together.
