Rullan earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Universidad de Puerto Rico. He then enrolled in Florida International University where he attained a master’s degree in investigative journalism. He currently serves as a Weekday Evening Anchor for NBC10 and Telemundo62.
Rullan started his career as a News Anchor at NBC TELEMUNDO in New York. Most of the remarkable stories he covered were about the impact Maria had on his homeland of Puerto Rico. Rullan then moved and joined NBCU Universal Media where he worked as a News Reporter. In addition, he also worked for three years as a radio reporter, editor, and producer at WKAQ in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Rullan is a three-time Emmy award winner and recipient of several awards from journalistic organizations in Puerto Rico. He is highly interested in causes related to children and families including education, health, and access to sports. During his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children playing basketball and restoring classic cars.
