Alex Lee Biography
Alex Lee is an American Anchor and Reporter working as a weekday morning traffic anchor for PIX11 in New York. She anchors the station’s newscasts from 4 to 9 am and also serves as the station’s fill-in host and reporter of NY Living, weekdays from 10 to 11 am.
Education | Career
Lee joined Chatham High School in 2005 and graduated in 2009 with a high school diploma. She then joined the College of Charleston where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Italian. While in college she interned at Springborard Constructing LLC and worked as a freelancer at MLB Network in the Great New York Area. Additionally, she interned at Studio One as a Partner Development Associate from September 2013 to May 2014.
In December 2016, she joined CBS Corporation as a freelance TV Traffic Anchor. She served this station for a year and 10 months and left in September 2018. Her next stop was Hip New Jersey where she served as a Host and Freelance Reporter from February 2019 to September 2020. Lee also worked for Total Traffic and Weather Network for about 7 years and 7 months leaving the station on December 2021.
From November 2018 to December 2021, Lee worked as a Freelance TV Traffic Anchor for Disney ABC Television Group in the Greater New York City Area. Lee then joined PIX11 in January 2022 and now works there as a traffic anchor, reporter, and host. She also fills in as a host for the station’s show NY Living from 10 to 11 am. When off her duties, she loves traveling and exploring new places and restaurants.
