Alexa Trischler Biography
Alexa Trischler is an American meteorologist working for 4WWL TV in New Orleans, Louisiana, as a broadcast meteorologist and Reporter, she joined the station in June 2023. In addition, she works for Longport Media Linwood, New Jersey as a meteorologist, she joined the station in November 2020.

Trischler completed her high school diploma then joined Rutgers University and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology between 2013 and 2017. She currently works at 4WWL TV which is owned by TEGNA as a meteorologist and Reporter. Further, she is also a meteorologist for Longport Media Linwood.
Before starting her professional career, Alexa first worked as an intern. Her first internship job was Cablevision in the Greater New York City Area where she had a brief stay in 2016 serving as a News12 Meteorology Intern.
Her next internship was at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection in the same area the following year. She also served there for a short time then moved Florida Department of Environmental Protection in Tallahassee, Florida Area after getting a job there as a Meteorologist in February 2018.

Her stay there was almost two years and in October 2020, she quit and moved to Atlantic City.
Trischler decided to work as a Freelance Writer /Meteorologist for The Press of Atlantic City a position she held for more than 3 years. Later on, she joined The E.W. Scripps Company to serve as a Meteorologist and Multi-Media Journalist, she served there until February 2023.
Apart from weather broadcasts, Alexa also writes articles for WWL-TV Channel 4 and WTXL ABC 27 where she covers topics such as local business growth, weather-related events, and community development.
