Gabriella DeLuca Biography
Gabriella DeLuca is an American Anchor and Reporter working as a Reporter for WPXI in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. She joined WPXI in April 2017 after working as a Reporter for WTKR in Hampton Roads, Norfolk, United States from December 2012 to December 2016.
Education | Career
DeLuca is a Hampton High School alum and a 2011 graduate of Ohio University, where she graduated with a broadcast journalism degree. Since then, she’s been pursuing her reporting career throughout the country. While in college she interned at WTAE and WPXI-TV.
Before moving back home, she worked as a reporter for four years at WTKR in Norfolk, Virginia. She also lived in Virginia Beach, where she was just a block away from the Chesapeake Bay. At WTKR Gabriella covered countless stories, including the tragic murder of two WDBJ journalists. She left the station in December 2016.
The beach was a warm welcome after her first reporting job in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where she worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WLUC. She loved exploring the UP, and trying new activities including snowmobiling and dog sledding!
In April 2017, Gabriella rejoined WPXI-TV as a reporter and has worked her ever since. Nothing beats being back at home and Gabriella can testify this and she is thrilled to be back in Pittsburgh where she can be close to her family. Not only does she love Pittsburgh, but the people too, and she’s so honored to tell their stories.
