Gordon Dill is an American Award-Winning Anchor and Reporter working as a Weekday Evening Anchor at WSPA-TV in South Carolina. He is also WSPA-TV’s investigative reporter and anchors the station’s weekday 5, 6, 10, and 11 pm newscasts.

Dill serves as a Weekday 5, 6, 10, and 11 pm newscasts anchor and an investigative reporter at WSPA-TV in South Carolina. He is honored to be part of the station and is happy to serve the South Carolina Folk. He has over 2 decades of Television Experience and over the years of his professional career, he has received numerous awards and recognitions.
Gordon has been honored for his work with dozens of first-place awards in political, consumer, environmental, sports, feature, series, investigative, and spot news reporting. He has received awards from the Associated Press and the Carolinas Radio and Television News Directors, including “South Carolina Television Reporter of the Year” in 2002, 2003, and 2005.
In 2013, 2014, and 2015 Gordon was named “TV News Reporter of the Year”. Additionally, The South Carolina Broadcasters Association awarded him the “Award of Merit” as the state’s reporter of the year in 2012, 2013, and 2014 and the “Star Award” for reporter of the year in 2015 and 2016.
Furthermore, Gordon has been nominated for Emmy awards in more than a half dozen reporting categories. He won an Emmy for a story about a young golfer with an especially sweet stroke. According to him the real highlight of his career came in March of 2011.
After joining WSPA, he’s been matched with some of the best producers, photographers, and reporters in journalism. He believes this is the best team he’s ever worked with and hopes the best years of his career are just beginning.
