Jason Doris is an award-winning meteorologist working for WJAR-TV NBC10 serving as a meteorologist and digital weather producer. He joined the station in September 2022 after working as a weekend meteorologist at WBNG-TV in Binghamton, New York.

After completing his high school diploma, Doris went to Lyndon State College and pursued a Bachelor’s degree in atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology graduating in 2019. During the same period, he was also studying at Northern Vermont University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology.
Career
Doris currently works as a Meteorologist for WJAR-TV in Rhode Island, United States, he has been here for almost two years and joined in September 2022. Jason started working even before he graduated from the university, he joined Vermont Transportation Agency in Lyndonville, Vermont in November 2017 where he served as the Lead Forecaster.
Following his graduation in 2019, Jason left Vermont Transportation Agency for a greener pasture, he secured a position at 7 NEWS, WHDH-TV in Boston, Massachusetts working as a Meteorologist. He stayed there for about one and a half years then packed his bags and went his way in October 2020.
Jason’s next stop was WBNG TV 12 in Binghamton, New York where he took the position of a Meteorologist, he worked there for about two years and then left in August 2022 for his current job, and he works there to date. Away from work, Jason is a sports person, he loves working out, hiking, and running. He also likes cheering on the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, and Boston Red Sox, his best team.
