Jason Hackett is an American news personality working for KARE 11 as an early morning news anchor. Before joining the station, Jason worked in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as a morning anchor for over 5 years.

Hackett went to the University of Florida in 2006 and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication – News. He immediately got a job at WUFT-FM as an Anchor, Reporter, and Producer. Jason then left the station after one year and joined WMBB News 13 in Panama City, Florida Area where he worked as a General Assignment Reporter for about 2 years.
KGAN CBS 2 was his next stop where he worked as a Television News Reporter for about two years. He later got another reporting job at WPTV in West Palm Beach, Florida, and stayed there for about 3 years. He currently works at KARE 11 as a morning news anchor, he joined the station in February 2023.
