Godynick attended and graduated from Rutgers in New Brunswick, New Jersey with a Meteorology Degree. He also holds a master’s in Meteorology from Monmouth University in Long Branch, New Jersey. Justin began his career at News 12 New Jersey as a meteorologist. He worked here for a while and then moved to SNJ in Millville.
For about 12 years, Justin served as a News 12 New Jersey and during this time he had the opportunity to serve New York 1. He became part of the NBC family in October 2022. Godynick NBC Boston (WBTS-TV) before joining his current station. He now serves as an Evening Meteorologist for NBC10 in Philadelphia.
He is honored to be part of the NBC10 weather team and part of the crew that ensures that the Philly people get the latest weather updates. When he is not working he loves listening to music and playing the guitar. He also enjoys riding motorcycles and exploring the area.
