Education | Career
Brickman attended and graduated from Marlboro High School and later joined the University of Illinois. He holds a Degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. After graduating, he began his career as a meteorologist for WICD-TV in Champaign, Illinois.
Brockman currently serves as a weekend 6 and 11 pm meteorologist for NBC 4 New York. He also delivers weather updates on weekday editions of “News 4 New York” and is part of the station’s Storm Team. He loves serving the community and often visits Tri-State classrooms to discuss severe weather safety in conjunction with WNBC’s popular “Weather Kids” community program.
Before joining his current station, he served as a morning meteorologist for WCCO-TV in Minneapolis-St Paul. He served this station for 8 years and while there he regularly covered severe weather ranging from blizzards to tornadoes.
