He anchors the 5, 6, and 11 pm newscasts alongside Sheree Paolello. With over 3 decades of television experience, Mike comes to WLWT after working as a morning anchor at KOMO in Seattle.

He has been in the television business for over 3 decades and is honored to be part of the WLWT News 5 team. Before his tenure in Seattle, Dardis worked in Philadelphia for a decade, and at other stations in New York and Pennsylvania before that.
He is an Emmy Award Winning Anchor who has been honored with multiple Emmy Awards for his reporting and work on special projects. Together with his co-anchor at WLWT were awarded an Edward R. Murrow Award, for their series of stories on a fugitive doctor accused of performing unnecessary spine surgeries on hundreds of patients in greater Cincinnati.
Before moving to news in 2000, he was a sportscaster in Philadelphia here he hosted Major League Baseball pre-game shows, the Eagles coach’s show for several years, and did sideline reporting during pre-season NFL games. Additionally, he was twice named AP Sportscaster of the Year in the State of Pennsylvania. When Mike is off his duties, he enjoys coaching youth sports, volunteering in the community, and hosting charity events.
