Morgan Palmer Biography
Morgan Palmer is an American Meteorologist working for KIRO TV in Seattle, Washington as the Chief Meteorologist, he joined the station in April 2011 and worked as a Meteorologist before being promoted to his current position in October 2015.
Education | Career
Palmer went to The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with a BJ in journalism (Broadcast). He is also a graduate of Mississippi State University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology.
Morgan currently works as the Chief Meteorologist for KIRO TV, he worked first as a weekend Meteorologist when he joined the station in 2011. He was then moved to a weekday morning Meteorologist in November 2014, after only one year in this position, the station management promoted Morgan in October 2015.
Morgan had a long stay as a Meteorologist, Anchor, and Reporter for KLTV 7 in Tyler, Texas he joined the station in August 1990 and left in January 2008. The following year, he got a job at U.S. Weather Consultants, Inc. based in Estero, Florida where he served as a Consulting Meteorologist for almost two years.
During this time when Palmer was working at U.S. Weather Consultants, Inc., he was still working for WBBH/WZVN Waterman Broadcasting Of Florida LLC as a Meteorologist, he served there for over 3 years and then left in April 2011.
