Najahe Sherman is an American Anchor and Reporter working as an Evening Anchor at CBS4 Miami. She has been part of CBS4 since July 2022 and her newscasts air on CBS Miami at 5:30 pm, and 9-10 pm on TV33. Before joining her current station she worked as a News Anchor and host at BNC TV, a national news network providing 24/7 programming to more than 52 million households across the United States.
Education | Career
Najahe graduated from the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications at the University of Kansas. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism. After graduating, she began her professional career as a Television News Anchor and Reporter at KSLA News 12 TV. She joined the station in January 2006 and left in December 2009.
Najahe currently serves as a news anchor and reporter at CBS News Miami. She anchors CBS News Miami at 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 -10 p.m. on CBS News Miami on TV33. Najahe is also the primary fill-in anchor for CBS Miami News at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. She joined CBS4 Miami in July 2022 and is honored to be part of the station’s news team.
Before joining CBS4 Miami, she was a news anchor and host at BNC TV, a national news network providing 24/7 programming to more than 52 million households across the United States. She has also been a news anchor and reporter in Tennessee for several years. Additionally, Najahe has held positions as a news anchor, reporter, and multimedia journalist in television markets in Alabama, Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee, Wyoming, and Iowa.
Besides her journalism work, Najahe is an active community volunteer. Najahe has served as an emcee and host for various organizations raising more than half a million dollars for non-profit groups in north Alabama, including the Women’s Economic Development Council and Stars Dancing for HEALS. She also served as a youth mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization and volunteered at Boys and Girls Clubs in Louisiana.
Najahe was featured as one of “Nashville’s 25 Most Beautiful People” by Nashville Lifestyles Magazine with country music artist Jake Owen and television personalities Kellie Pickler and Chris Carmack of the television series Nashville. She is also a former NFL Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader and former Mrs. Louisiana America.
