Novini attended and graduated from American University where she double majored in Broadcast Journalism and Vocal Performance. Novini currently serves as a weekend 6 and 11 pm news anchor for NBC 4 New York. She joined the station in April 2016 and has been here ever since.
Novini began her career as a digital content director for the ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs, KRDO. In January 2013, she was promoted to News Anor and left the station in January 2016. She enjoyed her stay there and what she loved most about the area was its people.
During her tenure at KROD, Novini won several awards and recognitions. In 2014, she received the Colorado Broadcasters Association Award for Best Feature Report. She was also awarded the Silver Award in 2015 for being voted the Best TV News Anchor by viewers.
