Connors attended and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Additionally, she holds a law degree from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. She got a start in her career as an intern at The Today Show and as an intern for NBC10. After interning in these two stations she landed a job as a reporter and anchor in Grand Junction, Colorado, and later in Fort Myers, Florida.
She joined NBC10 in 2009 and has worked here since as a Weekend Evening Anchor. Her stay in Philadelphia has impacted her career in many ways. She won six Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards at NBC10 for her coverage of topics ranging from a deadly prison standoff in Delaware to School closures in Philly.

As of 2024, she is an active member of the Board of Directors for MANNA. She has been with MANNA for over 2 decades.
