Kwon attended Blaine High School where she played volleyball and golf. She then attended and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. During her college years, she served as a Development Intern for Affordable Housing Connections and was also a PA Announcer for the University of Minnesota Crookston.
Kwon currently works as a Morning Reporter and Anchor for FOX 9 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Before joining her current station she worked as a Morning Anchor for WDAY, the ABC affiliate in Frago, North Dakota. She served the station for 2.5 years and spent most of her time at the desk as a morning anchor but also took on other roles, including reporting and producing.
Outside work, she loves spending time being active and in tune with her body and mind. She loved spending time practicing mindful meditations and yoga, skiing, running, climbing, going to concerts or journaling. She is looking forward to being more of a tourist in the place she calls home and sharing impactful stories with the Twin Cities community.
