Alix Kendall Biography
Alix Kendall is an American Emmy Award-Winning Anchor and Reporter working as a Morning News Anchor at FOX 9 in the Twin Cities. She has been part of the station’s morning news team since joining the station in 1999. Besides hosting Good Day Minnesota, she also hosts The FOX 9 Morning Buzz.
Education | Career
Before her broadcasting career, she worked as a handwriting analyst at the Minnesota State Fair. She worked as a DJ at KELN FM radio station in Platte, Nebraska in 1985. Kendall began her broadcasting career in Minneapolis working at KLXK-F as a disk jockey. Kendall currently works as a Morning News Anchor at FOX 9 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She joined the station in July 1999 and currently co-hosts Morning Buzz and Good Day Minnesota.
Before joining her current station, she worked as a Reporter and Weekend Anchor for KRQE-TV in Cincinnati and also worked for FOX 19 WXIX-TV. Besides working in television, she has traveled extensively doing volunteer work in Central and South America with Global Volunteers. When off her duties, she loves playing the guitar and screenwriting.

Kendall was born and brought up in Minneapolis by her mother Camile Mary Georgia and her unidentified father. Her mother worked as a switchboard operator at now KARE-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was raised beside her late big sister Sheri and her brother Mark. Information concerning her father has not yet been verified, we will therefore not talk about him for now. She however posts her father and mother on her Instagram account. For instance, she posted her father on January 20, 2022.

Injury
On March 18, 2023, Kendall had an accident when she was getting ready for a breezy weekend. She fell face-first onto an iron fence when she was visiting a friend and playing with her dogs in her backyard when this incident happened. Alix says that the accident almost cost her an eye and she ended up with 10 stitches on the upper side of her left eye.
According to sources, this is not the first time she has fallen and damaged her head, in 2011 she was to go skydiving for charity when she hit her head when she fell off the stairs and ended up with 10 stitches and a nasty black eye. Kendall is currently in good health and recovering well.
