Arrianee LeBeau Biography
Arrianee LeBeau is an American Emmy Award Winning Anchor and Reporter working for PIX11 as a Weekday Evening News Anchor. She joined PIX11 in January 2022 after spending 2 years serving KPHO as a reporter and anchor.
Education | Career
LeBeau attended and graduated from the University of California with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then joined Syracuse University where she graduated with a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism. After graduating, she began her career as a Reporter and anchor for KVAL-TV in Eugene, Oregon Area. She served the station for 2 years and 7 months (from December 2008 to June 2011).
Before joining the station, she worked at KPHO/KTVK-TV in Phoenix, Arizona as an anchor and reporter for almost three years. Before working for KVAL-TV, she worked for WVEC ABC13 in Norfolk, VA, for almost eight years as an anchor and reporter. LeBeau now anchors and reports news for PIX11 News at 4 p.m.
Besides her work as a journalist, Arrianee serves as a mentor to journalism students and used to work at Hampton University’s Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications in Hampton, VA as an Adjunct Professor. LeBeau has reported everything including national and local news stories with experience spreading in the country.
One of her most unforgettable moments highlighted the establishment of the Heather Heyer Foundation, which gives students scholarships committed to progressive change. Heyer’s mother, Susan Bro who was questioned by LeBeau began the foundation. In 2017, she passed away at a “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia when a white supremacist plowed his car into a group of counter-protesters.
LeBeau has been recognized for her enchanting and attention-commanding reports. She earned large military reporting experience in Norfolk, VA, where the country’s largest US NAVY base lives. In 2012, she gave aerial reports over the Navy jet crash deemed the “Good Friday Miracle”. LeBeau has also had her fair share of severe weather reports in tropical storms, snow storms, monsoons, and hurricanes.
