Courtis Fuller Biography
Courtis Fuller is an American Emmy Award-Winning Anchor and Reporter working as a News Broadcaster at WLWT in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has been part of the station for over 3 decades and his career spans 44 years. Fuller has been named Cincinnati’s Favorite TV Personality by the Broadcast Hall of Fame. After serving several stations in the country he returned to WLWT in July 2003.

Fuller currently serves as a News Anchor at WLWT the NBC affiliate in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has been serving the station for 35 years and is honored to be part of the WLWT news team. He returned to WLWT in July 2003 after hosting his talk show on WCIN radio.
In 2023, he was inducted into the inaugural class of the WLWT Hall of Fame. He is a multi-Emmy Award winner and a 2021 inductee in the prestigious Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Silver Circle. Additionally, he has received countless awards for his excellence in journalism and his tireless community service, including multiple Emmy Awards.
Fuller is one of the first journalists inducted into the Central Florida Association of Black Journalists and Broadcasters Hall of Fame. Further, he has been recognized by the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists, the Cincinnati Society of Professional Journalists, and the Associated Press among others.
In 2021, the Hamilton County Commission named a day in Fuller’s honor. He was even honored with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award and The Lion Award in 2022. In addition, Fuller was named one of Cincinnati’s Men of Honor and once voted Cincinnati’s Favorite TV Personality.

Fuller believes in giving back to the community and volunteers with community charitable organizations. He is an advisory board member for the Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation and an honorary member of the Cincinnati Opera Board. He previously served as a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Board, the Greater Cincinnati Tall Stacks Commission, and the United States Department of Education’s Back-to-School National Advisory Board.
Additionally, he served on The Executive Board of the National Association of Black Journalists. Fuller is always on the look for ways to serve the community. In 2010, a scholarship was established in his name to help young aspiring journalists achieve their dream
