Eagan attended and graduated from Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro. Later on, he joined Boston College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism. She currently works as a weekend morning anchor for WCVB Channel 5 in Boston. Eagan joined the station in September 2018 after working as a Reporter for WHDH-TV for 5 years and 4 months.
She anchors WCVB’s Saturday and Sunday Newscasts at 5 AM, 6 AM, 8 AM, and 10 AM. She has covered many locally and nationally significant stories throughout her career including the return of James “Whitey” Bulger to Boston after his arrest, a story that captured the first video of the notorious mob boss in decades.
Eagan received two Emmy Award nominations, first for her coverage of the arrest of a hospital worker in New Hampshire who was accused of infecting patients with Hepatitis C, and second for a feature story on Honor Flight New England. When free, she loves exploring the area, traveling, and trying out new restaurants and foods.
