Michelle Linn is an American News Personality working at FOX 23 News serving as a Morning News Anchor since she joined the station in January 2011. Formerly, Linn worked at KMIZ-TV as a Morning News Anchor.
Education | Career
Linn studied at William Woods University from 1994 to 1996 where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Broadcast Communications. She is currently performing her duties at FOX 23 News serving as a morning news anchor since she secured a position at the network in January 2011. Michelle is honored to be a member of Tulsa’s morning anchor team with the longest tenure. She enjoys co-hosting FOX23 News This Morning with Ron Terrell every weekday from 4 to 9 a.m.
Since she was eight years old, she has known that she wants to be a morning news anchor. She began her journalism career in 1997 at KMIZ-TV in Columbia, Missouri, where she anchored the morning news for more than ten years.
Linn enjoys interacting with and hearing about the tales of FOX23 viewers. She co-produces the weekly “On Her Mind” series, which focuses on stories that affect women, with FOX23 Chief Photojournalist Brent Snider. Leading FOX23’s St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway Campaign since 2013, she has raised over $10 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with pride.
She values the connections she’s made with the local St. Jude families and is honored to have the opportunity to visit the hospital in Memphis once a year to share tales of the life-saving work they’re doing. Michelle enjoys visiting classrooms, hosting activities, and participating in the community.

Linn was born and brought up in St. Louis Missouri native. Michelle and her twin sister were adopted when they were babies. Her mother assisted her in finding her birth mother when she was in her early 20s because she needed medical records.
Knowing her birth mother and her family now, some 20 years after they first connected, is one of Linn’s greatest joys. Michelle’s birth mother made the choice when she was seventeen when she became pregnant with twins. However, further information concerning her dad or sibling is not yet disclosed.
