Nick Allard Biography
Nick Allard is an American Meteorologist working as a Weekday Morning Meteorologist for KIRO7 News & KIRO Radio. He joined the stations in October 2015 after working for TEGNA as a morning Meteorologist.
Education | Career
Allard went to Mississippi State University where he studied Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology. He is also a graduate of Washington State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree, in Broadcast Journalism.
Following his graduation from the university, Nick was able to secure a job at TEGNA in May 2006, he first worked as a weekend morning Meteorologist for KING5. The company then moved him to KGW-TV8 and Northwest Cable News to serve as a morning Meteorologist. He served in this position for about 6 years and then his current job came calling and he said yes.
Nick currently works at KIRO 7 as a Weekday Morning Meteorologist, as of 2024, he has worked there for close to 9 years after joining the station in October 2010. He studies atmospheric conditions and broadcasts weather forecasts as part of his job there. In addition, Nick loves telling compelling stories to educate and entertain his television and radio audiences.
