Paris Rain Biography
Paris Rain is an American News Personality working at FOX 23 News serving as a Multimedia Journalist since she joined the station in August 2023. Formerly, Rain worked at Black Link Magazine LLC as a Music Writer.
Education | Career
Rain studied at Langston University from the year 2019 to 2023 where she graduated with an A.A. in General Studies in Arts and Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Corrections. Paris is presently performing her duties at the FOX 23 station serving as a Multimedia Journalist since she secured a position at the network in August 2023.
Paris has won first place in the OBEA Multimedia Journalist and Radio Host competition twice. She made it her goal to develop into a well-rounded journalist and a mentor to freshmen at LU. Rain joined The National Council of Negro Women and had positions as managing editor, staff writer, and photographer for the campus newspaper The Gazette, as well as public relations specialist and radio personality for KALU 89.3 FM.
Since she was five years old, Paris and her mother had watched the news together. However, when she saw how few Black women’s voices there were on TV, she became determined to change that. Paris intends to assist convey the tales of Tulsa neighborhoods and the marginalized in addition to serving as a voice for the younger generation.
