Aaron Dickens is an American Anchor and Reporter working as a Weekend Morning News Anchor for ABC10 in San Diego, California. He joined the station in June 2022 after working as a News Anchor for Gray Television in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Education | Career
Dickens graduated from New York University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Public Policy. After graduating, he began his professional career by joining NBC Universal where he served as an Assistant to Lorne Michaels’ Office, Saturday Night Live. He joined the station in August 2005 and after 1 year and 1 month, left in August 2006.
Dickens currently works as a News Anchor for ABC10 in San Diego, California. He joined the station in June 2022. and has been working here ever since. His stories circle the LGBTQ+ Communities, Jobs, and Small Businesses. He is thrilled to be back home getting the opportunity to share the stories of his people.
Dickens has also worked for other stations like NY1 which he joined In May 2006 as a Reporter and was promoted to News Anchor in May 2013. He left NY1 in February 2017 joining Fox News as a Producer and after 3 years and 8 months he left the station in September 2020. Before joining his current station he was a News Anchor at Gray Television in Rapid City, South Dakota.
He joined the station in September 2020 and after a year and 10 months, he left the station in June 2022. Dickens enjoys helping improve people’s quality of life through his storytelling and promoting a healthy lifestyle. He loves spending time in the gym, going for walks, and exploring new places when off his duties.
