Antonio attended and graduated from the University of California, Irvine where he earned degrees in English and International Studies. She currently works as a Morning Anchor for WCVB in Boston. She joined the station in June 2013.
Antonio started her professional career as a morning news anchor and reporter for KWES in Midland/Odessa, Texas. While there, she received awards for anchoring, general assignment reporting as well as sports reporting.
Before joining her current station, she served as a morning anchor and reporter for KOB in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She served this station for over seven years, covering everything from wildfires to floods to snowstorms and even hot air balloon crashes.
Additionally, she interviewed Barack Obama during his campaign for Presidency and was part of several team Breaking News Awards from the New Mexico Broadcasters Association. Besides news, she appeared as a News Anchor in two episodes of “Breaking Bad”. When off her duties, she loves traveling, reading on the beach, and snowboarding in the winter.
