Saladna attended Pennsylvania State University where she majored in marketing. She also studied international business and politics at the University of Extener. At WGAL-TV, she served as the station’s 5:30 and 11 pm weekday news anchor and received six Emmy nominations for her reporting and anchoring from the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Besides her professional work, Saladna is also active in the community and volunteers her time to support nonprofit organizations in the community. She has been involved with organizations like the Jeff Coombs, Foundation, A Red Sox Foundation, and the Massachusetts General Hospital Program. Additionally, Mary is an advocate for CPR Training, AIDS awareness, and voting.
