Jennifer Bisram Biography
Jennifer Bisram is an award-winning journalist currently working as a reporter for CBS2 News, she joined the station in November 2022.
Education/Career
Bisram went to Queens College in 2000 and graduated in 2004 with a bachelor of arts degree in Communications, and Media Studies. In addition, she joined Brooklyn College and graduated in 2010 with a Master of Science in Communication and Media Studies.
Jennifer currently works as a Television News Reporter for CBS based in New York since 2022. Before joining this station, she worked as a News Anchor for News 12 Long Island for two months in the same year. For almost 6 years, Bisram worked for WPIX-TV as a News Reporter, she was based in New York.
Bisram also worked as a Weekend Morning Anchor and News Reporter for WXYZ-TV in Detroit, Michigan for more than 2 years until December 2016 when she left the station. Before this, she was a News Reporter at WSVN-TV 7News in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area, she left the station in September 2014.
In November 2010, Bisram’s career took her to FOX 35 Orlando, WOFL-TV where she took the role of a News Reporter for about 2 years. She also worked for News 12 Westchester between April 2007 to November 2010 taking the role of a reporter. Also as an intern, Bisram went to NY1 serving as a writer for one year. To date, she is an author of children’s books. She has also served as a reporter at News 55.
Good to note that, Jennifer has also written stories for The Queens Chronicle, The Amsterdam News, and NY Newsday, also at one time, she was featured as a reporter on Comedy Central’s, Detroiters.
